Four steps to membership

Come to a meeting
Visit us on a Thursday at 6:00 PM at Sirikwa Hotel. Guests are welcome — come and see what a club meeting is actually like before deciding anything.

Meet the members
Talk to our Membership & Engagement Director about your interests and what you would like to contribute. Rotary membership is about service, fellowship and professional connection.

Be proposed
An existing member proposes you for membership, and the club board reviews the proposal. This is how Rotary clubs worldwide admit new members.

Join a project
New members get involved with a service project straight away. It is the fastest way to meet people and see the club at work.

Rotaract and Interact in Eldoret
Rotary is not only for established professionals. We sponsor and work alongside youth clubs across Eldoret — at universities, at colleges and in secondary schools.
Rotaract
Ages 18 and older
Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. Rotaract members decide how to organize and run their clubs, manage their own funds, and plan and carry out activities and service projects. Rotary club sponsors offer guidance and support and work with your club as partners in service.
Interact
Ages 12-18
Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. The program shows middle school and high school students that serious leadership can be seriously fun. Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.
Rotary Youth Exchange
Ages 15-19
Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one young person at a time. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries. Long-term exchanges last a full academic year, and students attend local schools and live with multiple host families. Short-term exchanges last from several days to three months and are often structured as camps, tours, or homestays that take place when school is not in session.
RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)
Ages High school students
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where Rotary helps high school students hone their leadership potential while having fun and making connections. Events include presentations, activities, and workshops covering a variety of topics.
